Icebreak is designed for one iPhone and a group in the same room. Only the person holding the game needs the app. Nobody creates a room or enters a name.

Read the card aloud
Point, vote, put a finger down or defend a hot take. Let the conversation run when a good story starts.
Tap for the next
Play all 20 cards or end early. Start another round to remix the selected packs and avoid immediate repeats.
Make it good for the whole group
The pass rule
Anyone can pass on any card, with no explanation. Tap to move on and keep the night light.
Let stories beat scores
There is no winner. If a card starts a funny story or a ridiculous debate, pause the game. The conversation is the point.
Match the pack to the room
Do not switch on Spicy just because it exists. Use it only when the group wants dating and flirting questions. It is never a licence to pressure somebody into sharing.
Download before the night starts
The iPhone app keeps its prompt catalogue on the device, so a round can continue without venue Wi-Fi or mobile reception.
